Terms of Use
These terms apply to the Telop app and to heygravy.com, provided by Gravy Consulting Inc. ("Gravy", "we", "us") of Toronto, Ontario, Canada. By using them you agree to these terms.
Your license to use Telop
Telop is licensed to you, not sold, under Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement, together with these terms. Where the two conflict, Apple's agreement applies. You may use Telop for your own personal, non-commercial enjoyment. Please don't copy, resell, reverse engineer or redistribute it, except where the law allows you to regardless.
Weather information is for entertainment
Telop is a recreation of a 1980s television broadcast, made to be enjoyed. Forecasts, observations, imagery and scores come from third-party services, can be delayed, incomplete or wrong, and are displayed in a deliberately vintage style. Don't rely on Telop for safety, travel or other important decisions. For severe weather and emergencies, follow your local weather service and emergency authorities.
Third-party data
Weather data, imagery and sports scores are provided by independent third parties, under their own terms. We don't control them and can't guarantee they'll be available. Telop is not affiliated with or endorsed by these providers, any broadcaster, or any sports league or team. Names and marks of others belong to their owners.
Our content
The Telop app, its artwork, code and this website are owned by Gravy Consulting Inc. or used under license. Typefaces and other open-source components are used under their own licenses, which ship with the app.
No warranty
Telop and this website are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent the law allows. We don't promise they'll be uninterrupted, error-free or always accurate.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Gravy is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from your use of Telop or this website, and our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for Telop. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection laws that can't be waived.
Changes
We may update these terms as Telop changes. We'll post the new version here with its effective date. If you keep using Telop after that, the updated terms apply.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
